Summary:
Working closely with the Senior Manager, this senior role will lead the technical development of the Supply Chain Design team. Lead modelling projects from project introduction to delivery of modeling results. Responsible for participating in modeling strategy sessions with senior leaders, documentation of data, and mentorship/coaching of team on technical skills development. This role will be the super-user for the modeling and data tools used by the team. This role may split project-management duties with the Senior Manager. There will be career paths available for either advanced technical responsibilities or people management as the team grows. Responsibilities Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting network optimization and scenario analysis, creating a clear timeline for project execution and delivery of results. Take complex data sets and translate them into compelling model outputs and convey those to leadership in a clear and understandable way. Lead projects and stakeholders through modelling of complex scenarios and is a master at collecting and managing large data sets. Provide coaching and training to global users, and relevent stakeholders. Use substantial knowledge of supply chain practices and procedures to navigate through data and technology challenges, upgrades and changes. Monitor processes and document best practices. Operate as the key contact point to help build models for network design and supply chain optimization work. Analyze and document project objectives, requirements, and approach Data sourcing, cleansing, analysis and database development. Work with Manager to develop a methodology for planning, analyzing, and executing supply chain engineering projects. Develop presentations, data visualizations and calculating the financial impact of various scenarios and presenting recommendations to executives. Develop supply chain network optimization models to perform network, transportation and inventory optimization and/or simulation Determine optimal site locations and inventory levels for facilities, determine ideal transportation lanes, and identify appropriate mix of transportation and contracting strategies Identify opportunities for improvement, solution alternatives, and calculate benefits to the integrated supply chain Develop innovative solutions leveraging internal tools, knowledge, and international expertise Note:

LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Coupa Modeler, JDA Strategist, RiverLogic, AIMMS - Experience with some of the following types of supply chain modeling:
network design and optimization, inventory optimization/simulation, transportation routing optimization, process and material flow optimization. - Prior experience with business intelligence software (Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize and present analysis - Strong data prep skills (either using SQL, R, Python, or Alteryx, or LLamasoft Data Guru) - Advanced skills at Microsoft Excel, SQL - Advanced Mathematical, Data Analysis, and Statistics - Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server/Database Management & Design - Passionate about supply chain design and modeling - A logical, and structured approach to problem-solving - Strong organizational and note-taking skills Nice to Have:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & Logistics, Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
