This position will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices for multiple accounts, maintaining financial records, and assisting with other functions as assigned.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable invoicing and supporting the Accounts Payable team.
Account Payable duties include but are not limited to.
Approves invoices from inputted payment data.
Oversees multiple accounts for different entities.
Applies payment reversals/voided checks in the ledger and manages backup documents.
Runs weekly payment data to ensure deadlines are met.
Resolves payment discrepancies with v+2ndors and other departments.
Processes payments include crediting all payable invoices to the system, and calculating and taking discounts.
Requirements:
3-5 years experience with Accounts Payables required for leadership/supervisory responsibilities.
Strong computer skills:
proficient in Microsoft Office and especially Excel.
Familiar with SAP or similar programs

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of accounting experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to type 40 WPM with accuracy and attention to the point.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus and accuracy.
Knowledge of general accounting practices, including payroll, sales tax, gross profit tax, sales tax, income tax, payroll deductions, bank reconciliations, and available financial reporting procedures.
