21-1012 Position Overview:
The successful admissions representative is responsible for representing the College and its mission by recruiting and enrolling prospective students in an ethical and professional manner and in keeping with organizational policies and procedures as well as relevant accreditation requirements.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communications, and time management skills.
This position will work as part of a team to support the College's goals.
Key Job Responsibilities Serve as primary point-of-contact for prospective students throughout program lifecycle.
Provide professional service by providing effective and efficient follow-up of assigned leads.
Provide accurate and timely enrollment documentation.
Set appointments and conduct interviews with prospective students.
Conduct campus tours for prospective students and their families.
Represent the College at outreach events and graduation.
Support College marketing efforts.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude and appearance.
Attend all required training and be proficient using student management software, and telecommunication software and platforms.
Be available to work nights and weekends, and travel to satellite campuses.
Facilitate interdepartmental communications Financial Aid, Student Services, and academic departments to enhance the admissions process and create a positive team-oriented atmosphere and overall student experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of Pacific College Policies and Procedures.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience to be able to explain, demonstrate, facilitate and model the essential functions of the job to ensure compliance Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, telecommunications software, and willingness to learn and use student management system.
Education, Experience and Formal Training Bachelor's degree Minimum one year working in admissions or sales position Professional Conduct Demonstrates behaviors that promote, enhance, and encourage collaborative relationships with collegiate members (co-workers, students, administration, ancillary departments) Demonstrate respect for the rights and needs of a diverse student population and demonstrate respect for staff, colleagues and the teaching profession Consistently projects a positive, professional image through appearance and behavior Responds promptly to students'/customers' requests and/or anticipated needs.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
