Laundromat Attendant Your job will be to oversee our Modern Laundromat as needed Monday through Sunday 2pm-11pm.
All hirees must be scheduled Saturday and/or Sunday each week.
Responsibilities (not limited to the below):
Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and respectful demeanor at all times to all customers Ensure all customers have the best laundry experience possible by educating them about machine operations, assisting them with certain tasks such as offering to carry laundry in or out, or providing any solicited laundry knowledge Process Fluff & Fold Laundry order intake per policy Understand operation of washing machines and dryers Communicate any maintenance and upkeep issues to Management immediately Maintain the cleanliness of the store, machines, and areas throughout your shift as well as assisting in cleaning and restocking tasks with the utilization of a Checklist provided by the Company Proactively maintain a safe environment such as cleaning up soap spills, drying up water on floor, etc Assisting fellow employees as need Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by Management Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work variable hours whether day or night to accommodate variation in scheduling.
Exceptional timeliness and reliable attendance.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to assist in other areas when needed Ability to work with little to no supervision.
Must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly as well as in a timely manner.
Must work well in potentially stressful and/or high pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Ability to bend, twist, lift arms above head, perform other repetitive motions and stand for up to 8 hours to perform normal job functions.
Must be able to lift between 25-50lbs regularly.
Must be able to regularly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-100lbs.
