-Knowing the client handbook and discussing the handbook with the client -Writing emails after intake has been completed to notify all staff -Responds to intake call's -Entering information into EHR -Verifying health insurance benefits and doing pre certifications -Negotiating financial agreements and payments -Manage admissions staff below you and make sure their job duties are getting done -Helps maintain cleanliness the overall presentation of the office including cleanliness, organization, and continually works to improve this standard -Set up new patient contacts and enter information into EMR -Communicates effectively to Director of Operations/Lead support Staff about Support Staff's competency and completion of job duties and responsibilities -An acute understanding of EMR, answering intake calls, screening, and running VOB's -A knowledge of regulations concerning alcoholism and drug addiction treatment -Working knowledge of alcoholism and drug addiction and treatment procedures for such illness.
