High School Teacher - PE, Performing Arts (Part time)
A private high school in Costa Mesa CA is recruiting 9-12th grade part time teacher for PE (Physical Education) and Performing Arts. Small Class size, personalized teaching, academic focus.
Responsibilities:
Teachers will perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to:
Preparing/implementing lesson plans that lead to student mastery of curriculum content
Developing /implementing integrated curriculum units, differentiating and scaffolding as needed
Regularly assessing student progress to refine instruction and meet student needs
Communicating frequently with students, students' families, colleagues and other stakeholders
Working closely with students and their families to promote personal growth and success
Maintaining regular, punctual attendance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 6 months of student teaching experience
- Preferred: California Teaching Credential or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
