The ideal candidate must maintain the below referenced qualities:
Mortgage document recognition is going to be a daily function.
Full accurate audit of loan files, documents and data as required by investor guideline
Maintain the scanning and indexing of loan files
Assure error free closing packages for investors
Prepare loan file for shipping/servicing sales while following investor/servicer requirements
Maintain the Shipping of loan files to various investors within the required time frame
Know when to prioritize shipping, scanning, and indexing of loan files
Reconcile HUD-1 to ensure correct loan settlement (verify and confirm accuracy against disclosed fees)
Knowledge of new RESPA regulations (2010 GFE)
Review daily reports to ensure deadlines are met.
Deliver loans to FNMA
Ability to insure with HUD a plus
Verify completeness and accuracy of stacking MIC Packages
Knowledge of MERS
Prepare refund request for borrower refunds and mail checks to borrowers.
Responsible for contacting internal and external customers to correct closing issues
Desired Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two or more recent years' full time loan origination experience, preferably in an inside lead driven environment.
