Vehicle Description 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet This lovely Porsche 911 was sold new by Cherry Hills Imports in New Jersey on May 1, 1989 to a Mr.
Digenova.
A few years later (1991) he moved the car with him to Newport Beach, California.
A year later, with roughly 20,000 miles on the odometer, he sold it to the second owner, a lady who also lived in Newport Beach.
She kept the car until 2021, when it was sold to European Collectibles with 32,690 original miles on the odometer.
Although she serviced it regularly, the car was driven less than 500 miles in her final five years of ownership.
Upon our purchase, we had it delivered directly to a local specialist for a major service.
The necessary work included an oil and filter change, new decklid shocks were installed, the brake fluid was flushed, and a sticky caliper was exercised, new shifter bushings were installed along with new valve covers and oil lines.
Once this work was completed, the AC system was completely overhauled, new tires were installed, and an alignment performed.
Thanks to two careful owners and very low mileage, the body is in excellent condition and the paintwork is original.
The leather interior is soft and free of any notable wear and has never been repaired or re-dyed.
The electric convertible top was replaced about seven years ago and currently looks and functions as it should.
With services up to date and completely original cosmetics (except for the top), this is a very desirable low-mileage G50 Carrera.
