WP0CD2A97KS144520 The launch of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Edition 918 Spyder in 2011 ushered in a wave of highly exclusive models at Porsche that were only made available to buyers of the 918 hypercar and other VIP clientele.
In 2017, Zuffenhausen's latest limited-edition creation was announced as the new 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe with production capped at just 500 examples worldwide.
A fitting send-off to the beloved 991-generation 911, the Exclusive Series Coupe stood as the most powerful Turbo S ever produced and, prior to the launch of the 991-generation GT2, was briefly the most powerful road-going 911 on sale rated at 607 horsepower.
The overwhelming demand for an open version of the spectacularly powerful Exclusive Series prompted Porsche to produce a further 200 Cabriolet examples.
Like its Coupe counterpart, the Exclusive Series Cabriolet was equipped with the Turbo S's twin-turbocharged 3.
8-liter flat-six boosted to 607 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque between 2250 and 4000 rpm.
Snappy shifts from the seven-speed PDK transmission enabled zero-to-60 in a mere 2.
9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 205 miles per hour.
Introduced alongside Porsche's then-new Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur brand, the Exclusive Series was as much about performance as it was about bespoke design features - acting as a showcase of the extensive customization available to Porsche customers.
This was made immediately apparent by its distinctive Golden Yellow Metallic finish accented with two negative carbon-weave stripes, various carbon fiber components like the trunk lid and side skirts, and a new rear facia featuring the rear wing of the Turbo Aerokit.
The interior followed the same theme, with swaths of perforated Black leather complemented by carbon fiber trim strips woven with a fine copper thread.
Other standard appointments included the Sport Chrono package, 18-way adjustable sport seats, rear-wheel steering, and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control.
This particular 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet Exclusive Series Cabriolet is identified as number 117 of 200 examples built by its Vehicle Limitation Number dash plaque.
Building on its already impressive list of standard features are a bevy of optional extras including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Porsche Entry & Drive, front axle lift system, Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, and an understated all-Black interior featuring deletion of the interior Golden Yellow contrasts (894).
Today, the Cabriolet is presented in like-new condition with a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report and only 1,835 miles shown at the time of cataloging, representing a rare chance to acquire an investment-grade example of a limited-edition modern Porsche.
