The body is very straight with excellent gaps and panel fit.
According to the previous owner, this 914-6 was subjected to a bare metal respray.
The 914-6 was totally disassembled and the body was completely stripped down to steel.
It was repainted in a beautiful shade of Burgundy metallic which is in exceptional condition.
The interior is very nice with a 914 Scheel-type driver's sport seat, VDO instrumentation that has been cleaned and detailed, and an Alpine stereo system.

The engine was completely disassembled and the engine case and crank were sent out to the machine shop.
The crankshaft was inspected and was found to be in great condition as well as the engine case.
The cylinder heads were sent out to Motorworks in San Diego to be rebuilt.
The engine was then reassembled using all new components including new pistons and cylinders, timing chain, thermostat, oil pump, chain tensioner update, main bearing, and much more, totaling $26,909.
The engine is very smooth with a ton of power and is very impressive to drive compared to a normal 914-6 with only 110hp.
The 5-speed 901 manual dogleg transmission is very smooth both up and downshifting and the four-wheel disc braking system stops the car straight.
According to the Certificate of Authenticity, this 914-6 came from the factory with USA equipment, light metal wheels, fog lights, and a Blaupunkt 'Frankfurt' Radio.
